Life :
I surfed for the first time in my life this month, and it feels like a void within myself has been filled a little.
I didn’t know I needed it.
As soon as cold splashes were repeatedly smashing into my face, it actually awakened a part of myself I’ve shelved for a while. I’ve led a very adventurous lifestyle in the past—thrilling, exhilarating, and many times unpredictable. I let some of that go to pursue a more stable lifestyle to better suit my present day self, but the urge to adventure, try new things, explore, will always be something I hold within myself. I may write on this more in-depth at a later date, but for now I’m keeping it short.
Updates: TROUT PINS! They are the newest additions and I am in love. I’ve begun to tackle the fall/holiday drawings, which always seems so strange to be doing in July, but sooner the better! I’d love to have the remainder of pins/earrings I’ve planned out into the world by October. Next month I have a surprise pin coming that feels VERY close to home. :)
