Life :

I could gather the energy to write out all of my reflections from 2023 and how I’ll be improving myself for this new year, but it just felt like a lot. I will say however that there is one intention I have set for myself this year that overrides everything else—feeling present within myself.

Even within these first two weeks of the year, I have consciously made the effort to push away the anxious daydreams about the future and fully immerse myself in the “now”. To my surprise, I’ve already had moments where I have felt genuine happiness while practicing this (with the help of friends of course). Just allowing myself to feel what ever it is , and not letting guilt get in the way—it brings a type of emotional freedom that unfortunately I haven’t felt in some time.

I *think* this is what it’s like when you actively choose yourself everyday—new to me!

Updates: You guys…I have so many new pins coming. More than I’ve ever had coming out at once I think. I’m also planning to do some major wholesaling this year and have been accumulating stock to prepare. I’m really proud of the shops that I’m part of currently and I hope to expand my art as far as I can take it!
